The Whakatane Tennis Club is looking likely at a semi-final berth in the Waikato Bay of Plenty Club Tennis Championship.

There are three rounds left and one of those rounds is a game from round two between Whakatane and St Peters which was rained off.

Last Saturday Whakatane played and won against the Thames Tennis Club to grab 8 points for fourth place for the time being.

Whakatane has won its last six club  matches and accolades to Mark Ratana who has been the backbone of the Whakatane mens team.
