The Torere community are pleased to be hosting their Wahakura Wananga at Torere Marae, 15th, 16th and 17th March (Wed – Fri).

Te Ao Hou Trust warmly invites all members of the community to attend the wananga. They would love to share your company, friendship and support to weave wahakura/waikawa for pēpi, and provide information and an education programme that focuses on protecting  pēpi to give them the best start in life.

Attendance is FREE.

Te Ao Hou Trust are keen to have as many attendees as possible, including hapu mama, whanau, as well as weavers from across the motu, whanau health workers and anyone who is interested in supporting the vision of   Te Ao Hou Trust – He whānau mārohirohi, he whānau mōhio, he whānau toiora, he whānau mahi ngātahi  (Resilient, Knowledgeable, Nurtured, Engaged Whanau)

Marae accommodation will be available on Wednesday and Thursday nights, and meals will be provided during the Wananga.
