Times almost up for voting papers for the Whakatane District Council. There’s huge concern over the amount of people that haven’t yet voted or even thought of voting.

50 applicants were interviewed for the Tauranga Council and 48% of Tauranga have voted. Warwick Lampp officer of Tauranga believes that these statistics will increase if the community will take time to vote.

But he’s not surprised with the outcome so far although he still encourages people to vote. Voting will close tomorrow.
