Te Mana o Ngati Rangitihi Trust were planning to hold meetings though October to get a mandate for their Waitangi Treaty settlement.
But Te Mana chairman Graham Pryor said they have decided to do away those hui but instead have a local member meeting this Sunday 29 September in Matata because of feedback from their people and their what their thoughts are.
Graham Pryor is encouraging his people to attend the meeting and have their say on what Te Mana o Ngati Rangitihi should be doing in regard to Treaty issues.
The Office of Settlements have already endorsed Te Mana o Rangitihi as negotiator for its people to the Minister of Waitangi Treaty Settlements.
Te Mana o Ngati Rangitihi wants to make sure every member agrees to what will take place so no one disrupts the forward momentum of plans that will assure a full outcome.
