The Super Trans-Tasman Touch begins tomorrow with the u19 and u21 mens and womens teams.
On Thursday, the older players will take to the field along with mens, women’s and mixed teams. One player that is part of the mixed team is Annette Almond, a Whakatane and Tuhoe descendant.
Annette Almond has already won two world cups against Australia but this will be her first trans-tasman competition.
