Tuwharetoa ki Kawerau Health and Education Service are currently running a sports skills programmes for children aged from 11 years to 17 years as well as other activities.  The focus of this programme is to keep children engaged and to be mentally and physically prepared.

The programme commenced last week but will still be running next week as the Sports Educators will be introducing different sports codes including Waka Ama, Kī-o-rahi and Touch Rugby.
