The Rangitaiki Festival is one of the most eagerly contested cultural events on the Eastern Bay calender and this year will be no different.

This year the festival will be held at Kokohinau Marae, Te Teko to accommodate the increasing numbers that come to watch this event.  The top 3 placings in the competitive section will represent the Mataatua region at the National Primary Schools Kapa Haka Competition which is held later on this year.
