The Whakatane Library now has stand for families to know about how to find health information for themselves.

The project is joint venture by the Public Health Service and Horizon Energy to have health pamphlets available through Te Koputu-a-te-whanga-a-Toi for people while they are looking for reading material or books.

The Public Health Service want to make available information booklets for proper eating habits for the individual and families. They should know what to do about sore throats so they do not get influenza or rheumatic fever.

The Public Health Service information stand will have all the relevant health resources and spokesperson Lorraine Howarth said they will update the health information regularly sharing them with communities relating the well-being of the person.
