Time is almost here to start renovating Opeke Marae in Waioweka within the boundaries of Te Whakatohea which will finish this Sunday 7 April.
Opoeke Marae co-ordinator Te Anau Apanui avoided the question on the things to happen to beautify Opeke Marae by saying they have been muffled until after the show airs on Maori Television during 2013.
Te Anau Apanui said the first pohiri is this afternoon at Terere Marae where accommodation is to be had and another pohiri a Opeke Marae to start DIY Marae renovations.
