Dennis Gray wanted to make a difference, so he designed something that celebrates the Māori language.

It’s taken Dennis three years to perfect his product it’s this man’s legacy after going through major health problems he wanted to leave something behind and now being a finalist in the language Māori language awards it the icing on the cake.

Māori Language awards will be held in Tauranga on November, 16.

Ko te hiahia o tēnei tangata kia tō te kākāno o te whakaaro, na kona i waihanga ia i tētahi taonga hei whakanui i te reo Māori.  Kua toru tau a Dennis Gray e whakatika ana i tāna taonga hei hoko.  Koinei te taonga nui hei waihotanga mā tēnei tangata ki te ao. Whai muri i ngā raru o tōna hauora i puia ake tēnei whakaaro, ara, ko te hangarau patopato Māori i tēnei wā kua whai wāhi ia ki roto i ngā tohu reo Māori.  Hei te marama e tū mai nei, a te tekau ma ono, tū ai te pō tohu reo Māori ki Tauranga.
