The Trident Boys A Volleyball team from Whakatane are hoping to advance to the finals this Friday in the Secondary Schools Volleyball competition being held in Palmerston North.

Trident High School came second last year in division one, however most of theri oledr players have moved on and the team is vitually new players in the current crop.

Coach Paul Barr thinks his team is playing strong enough to reach the final in their volleyball grade. The Trident Girls A team are doing well, they are at the top of their pool.
