Whakatane Kai Tahu descendants converged on Pukeko Marae to find out more about their  genealogy links to the South Island to their ancestor Tahupōtiki.

Experts came to Whakatane to talk about genealogy and history focusing on their own genealogy and as a consequence Kai Tahu genealogy keeper Terry Ryan and historian Joseph Hullan arrived in Poroporo to reveal what they know.

Audio-Kai Tahu Taurahere-Terry Ryan
