Elizah Ward from Kawerau has been selected for the NZ Womens u21 touch team and is the only woman from the Bay of Plenty who was selected.
She revealed she has not yet played against Australia for the Super Trans Tasman Touch tournament test series held at the Trust Stadium in Waitakere starting from February 5th to February 7th.
Elizah Ward said she is of Tuhoe descent and will play in the NZ womens U21 team and the womens Maori U21 team to paly Australia in Australia in July of this year.
