The Eve Rimmer Games get under way March 22 at Rex Morpeth Park in Whakatane.

The biennial event is for disabled athletes around Aotearoa and some from around the world.

The Eve Rimmer Games include sports such as swimming, athletics, boccia, wheelchair basketball, rowing, sailing, wheelchair rugby and other sports.

Organisers are expecting the best of disabled Aotearoa athletes to attend with 200 other disabled competitors across the country.
