Whakatane Athlete Karen Hanlen has maintained her hold on the Oceania mountain Bike title after competing in Glenorchy, Tasmania last Saturday.

Karen Hanlen whipped around the five lap circuit in 1hour 30minutes, 45 seconds ahead of Tasmanian Rowena Fry an Victorian Jenni King. While Wellington’s Samara Sheppard finished fifth in her first elite outing 8minutes behind Karen Hanlen.
