Last week the 13 year old Opotiki teenager, Tyla Kingi won her game in the Bay of Plenty Open in Whangamatā against Alana Campbell from Omanu.

That win by Tyla gave the Bay of Plenty the team title and selection for Tyla Kingi into the Bay of Plenty behind Zoe Brake and Grace Senior to play teh National in Dunedin in next month in December.

Tyla’s dad Tatai Kingi has been watching his daughter creeping towards the top spot in womens golf. Tyla Kingi received the scholarship AMP Rothburry which will help in her travel and accommodation.
